New Agent Development
Michael joins us with 10 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry.
Michael began his career in 2009 at Northwestern Mutual building a successful practice around the idea of being his clients “personal CFO", coordinating all aspects of their financial lives, including retirement planning, risk management strategies, and implementing qualified plans (defined benefit/contribution), buy/sell agreements, and disability buy-outs for businesses.
After being a successful producer, he went into the brokerage side of the business where he built an insurance division from the ground up for an investment bank located in NYC, with over 200 agents. Michael brings his experience from Northwestern Mutual, with a foundation in training, support, and office culture, to his new role as Chief Development Officer, where Michael is responsible for the recruitment, training and support for all agents with Mass Metro-NY less than 4 years. His knowledge of the insurance industry, through his brokerage experience, allows him to support our career agents with competitive insights to the industry most agents normally do not have access to within their office.
Michael graduated from Syracuse University in 2001.
When Michael is not developing new agents to MassMutual, he spends time with his family, (wife-Rebecca and two children-Natalie and Jacob) and is an avid hockey player.
